On the visit to Canary Wharf we had seen loads of drawings and plans for things such as bridges, how slaves would be section and placed on slave ships, tools that were used for agriculture and also devices that were used to measure things like Tabaco or sugar at docks. There was also a torture device that was used on pirates and criminals. This gave a clear idea on ruthless Britain was on its criminals and pirates. There were also items that were made by Africans from Ghana that were “taken” an put in the museum. These were mostly heads of humans and one of cat and all items had been carved from ebony wood.
