Interviewee – Blitz Store Worker

When listening to my interviews I had found out that one of the workers had said something about Brick Lane is becoming mainstream or becoming gentrified, which is when actual vintage stores are removed and improved so that it conforms to the “middle class taste”. She was also the lady that said, she feels as though Brick Lane is not fun anymore and that if you want to go out anywhere, you should look at places such as Peckham or Brixton instead of Brick Lane.
